What is Edit and Approve?

Edit and Approve is the review workflow for AI-generated responses. You can make manual edits, use AI assistance to refine responses, and mark responses as approved before export.

Editing Methods

Manual Editing

Edit responses directly in the response field. Changes are saved automatically.

Select Response

Double-click inside the response field you want to edit

Make Changes

Edit the text as needed

Save

Click outside the field or press Enter to confirm changes

Individual Approval

Click the Approve button on any response to mark it as reviewed and ready.

Bulk Approval

Select multiple responses and approve them at once:
  1. Use the checkbox to select responses
  2. Click Approve Selected in the toolbar
  3. All selected responses are marked as approved

Review Workflow

Sort by Trust Score

Start with lower trust score responses that may need more attention

Best Practices

Responses with lower trust scores may have less support from your Library. These often need manual enhancement or additional context.
As you edit, keep the tone consistent across all responses. Use the Custom Context settings to guide AI-generated content.
Even high trust score responses should be reviewed for technical accuracy, especially for compliance and security questions.
For repetitive adjustments (like “make more concise”), AI-assisted editing is faster than manual changes.

Multiple team members can work on the same project:
  • Real-time updates - Changes sync across all users
  • Approval tracking - See who approved each response
  • No conflicts - Edits are saved per-response to avoid overwriting

Troubleshooting

Ensure you click outside the response field or press Enter after editing. Check your internet connection.
Make sure text is selected before using the AI panel. The AI needs context to suggest edits.
Verify the response has content. Empty responses cannot be approved.
